Akane Nakano is a genius high school student who has been accepted to Seiran Academy, the school with the highest percentage of students who go on to Tokyo University, with a deviation value of 78. She is also the first student to receive a perfect score in all subjects on the entrance exam since the school was founded. On the morning of the entrance ceremony, a woman’s body with her left arm cut off is found in a park near the school, and many people gather there, and Akane is also drawn to the scene. Then she sees Yu Kurokawa, a man with a cold look, in the crowd and finds him fascinating for some reason. As Akane is fed up with the boring conversations of her classmates and wants to leave the school, she notices a man talking to a school employee on the school grounds. It turns out to be Kurokawa, who was at the scene of the murder, and Akane, being curious, visits the electronics store where Kurokawa works…
