Akane asks Eto for help and sneaks into the back of the shop when the manager isn’t looking. There, she finds a photo of Kurokawa and the shop manager looking friendly together, along with a letter. Seeing Akane’s bold actions, Eto confronts her about his long-harbored suspicions. “You’re the culprit, aren’t you?” Then, Eto took an even more unexpected action.

However, Akane laughs at their childish reasoning. Kajiya of the First Investigation Division also considers Akane a suspect and questions her.
