When Nami returned home, she found her mother hard at work. Now that her father had passed away, her mother was running the surf shop alone. Concerned, Nami offered to help, but that night, Sae told her that she was planning to close the shop. Her health had been declining ever since her fatherโs death. Overwhelmed by her feelings, Nami wrote a postcard to Takuma. One day, while trying to help her mother, Nami loaded a repaired surfboard onto her bicycle to deliver it but ended up falling on the way. As a result, she and her mother spent the entire night repairing the board together.
The postcard she sent to Takuma was returned to her. She confided in Mizuho, who encouraged her by saying that Takuma would get in touch eventually. Around that time, Mana was already taking steps toward her future, and Mizuho had also found a career she wanted to pursue. While Mana says to picture the person you want to become and work toward that goal, Mizuho counters that she should first find something sheโs capable of doing. Ryosuke says he canโt imagine a life without surfing. Nami still hadnโt decided on anything. Then, one day, a postcard arrived from Takuma.
