[Mother’s Auction] Ryo Kishida (Yosuke Sugino) is a 26-year-old NEET who repeatedly lists items from his parents’ home on online auction sites without permission and sells them whenever they fetch a good price. One day, while browsing an auction site, Ryo stumbles upon something unexpected: a photo of his mother, Nobuko (Sayaka Aoki). The listing page reads, “I’ll be your mother!” Recently, more and more people have been listing themselves on online auction sites. Ryo even heard that one of his friends won a bid for a new mother on one such site. Then, Ryo spots a line in Nobuko’s listing that stops him cold: “This time, I’ll get parenting right.”
[Where the Hell Are the Bodies……] Veteran detective Takao Sakuraba (Takaya Kamikawa) picked up a whiff of a case once again and visited a single-family home that day. His subordinates, Section Chief Michito Kuriyama (Yo Takahashi) and rookie detective Reiya Shindo (Kohei Higuchi), had already arrived at the crime scene. In the second-floor bedroom, the bodies of a man and a woman were lying on the bed. After leaving the bedroom, Sakuraba found a bloodstained kitchen knife hidden in the shrubbery. However, when he returned to the bedroom to get gloves, the woman’s body, which had definitely been there moments before, had vanished. Sakuraba was stunned while Kuriyama and Shindo were baffled, wondering if the body had ever been there at all. To make matters worse, the murder weapon and the bloodstains on the stairs had also disappeared without a trace.
[Clearing Out the Family Home] Saya Natsume (Shuri), a 30-something company employee, had just attended her mother Emiko’s (Hinako Saeki) funeral. Emiko was her only family. Saya returned to her childhood home, an old apartment complex, to clear it out. When her mother’s friend Satomi Matsuno (Shima Ise) heard this, her expression changed completely. Recalling her resentment toward her overbearing mother, Saya decided to dispose of all the items her mother had made by hand. But when she returned home after taking out the trash, she found that everything had been put back in place with notes reading, “Don’t throw these away!” “That’s sacrilegious!” The following weekend, while Saya continued to clear out the place, Matsuno visited her with some homemade cookies. Matsuno was delighted when Saya realized that the cookies tasted just like her mother’s. Saya found her reaction unsettling.
[I Wanna Be a Middle-Aged Man] Eight-year-old Koharu Nuikawa (Yuno Nagao) had a mysterious costume that could transform her into a lifelike middle-aged man (Satoru Matsuo). After her younger sister Chinatsu (Mei Morobayashi), who was two years younger, zipped up the costume, Koharu headed to the park in her new guise. She wanted to talk to her father, Mamoru (Nobuo Kyo), as an adult while he was on his way home. While Mamoru doted on his daughters, he was often cold toward his wife, Satoko (Kurara Emi), a full-time housewife. That night, Mamoru also berated Satoko for planning to apply for a part-time job. Koharu, who had been peeking in on the scene, made up her mind.
