Hanesaki vanishes with the second branch’s opening funds, and Ichika and the others witness for the first time the usually composed Sakae visibly shaken. Feeling responsible, Sakae bows his head to Shoko’s father and asks for the shortfall, but tension remains between him and Shoko. Meanwhile, hoping to mend their relationship, Shoko consults Ichika about making Sakae a home-cooked meal. Ichika gets a hint from Amane and suggests a certain dish tied to a cherished memoryโฆ but can it truly melt the heart of a man who has always hidden behind a brave face?
