Seeing Akane’s bold actions, Eto confronts her about his long-harbored suspicions. “You’re the culprit, aren’t you?” Then, Eto took an even more unexpected action.

In 2002, 23-year-old Kurokawa worked as an apprentice secretary for his father, Toshihisa, who was a politician. Fed up with a world full of political agendas, Kurokawa grew closer to Ryoko, the niece of the store manager, at the restaurant “Rindon,” the only place where he could find himself. A year later, when Toshihisa learns of their relationship, he investigates Ryoko’s background. He is adamantly opposed to the relationship, saying that Ryoko is unfit for his son. He also reveals that he took care of the pregnancy. When Ryoko learns of Kurokawa’s position, she says, “I will raise this child myself,” and disappears. Akane, who learned about Kurokawa’s past by reading the letter she took from “Rindon,” visits the restaurant again and asks the manager about something.

A woman claiming to be a murderer visits Kajiya, a detective in the Investigation Division. Kajiya is pursuing the serial killer who has shaken the whole country. She tells the woman that she doesn’t have time for pranks, but the woman offers her a notebook and says, “There won’t be any more victims. Kajiya reads the notebook and recounts the serial murders that took place at Seiran Academy six years ago. The woman reveals there was a student fascinated by Kurokawa, the suspect, who began committing petty crimes at the academy and eventually became a serial killer.

One day, Shinozaki brings up the topic of a serial killer causing a stir in the media, which provokes Eto and the others, as if Shinozaki knows the killer’s true identity. Akane also becomes interested in the topic, but…

The “Seiran Unified,” a school test that is directly linked to the school social hierarchy and is said to have a major impact on students’ future career paths, is suddenly canceled. Determined to find the culprit who forced the cancellation, Eto is set on bringing them to justice. With her classmate in her sights, Akane prepares her next scheme while eavesdropping on the principal’s office. There, her homeroom teacher, Kadokura, and the assistant homeroom teacher, Sasaki, hint that the cancellation was due to a leak in the exam information. Kadokura asserts that Minowa, the classical literature teacher, must be the culprit. Unbeknownst to her, Miyauchi was eavesdropping on this conversation from behind the door.

Led by Akane, Class 1-A begins their search for the culprit who destroyed the stone statue. However, Akane grows impatient with the stupid geniuses who show no signs of getting close to the core of the case. Meanwhile, it is discovered that a plaster statue in the art room has also been destroyed, and Shinozaki comes up with a theory about the destruction of the statues. Akane, frustrated that her classmates are unable to identify the culprit, gives Eto a book. At the same time, Shinozaki and Yorihara, who were watching a video of the destroyed statue and the ensuing commotion, notice something strange. Eto also reads the book Akane gave him and notices something strange. Akane makes another move to entertain herself.

After confirming each other’s feelings and deciding that he would never leave Madoka’s side again, Subaru returned to work. Then, inspired by Madoka’s money-saving tips, he comes up with an idea for a product, but to make it a reality, he needs someone with high sewing skills. Subaru then goes to see Tomoya, who has already decided to quit his job… Soon, the launch event for the new product is set, and the members scramble to get the number of orders they need. Seeing his friends like that, Subaru remembered the meaning of his name, “Subaru,” that Wataru had told him when he was little. On the day of the event, Subaru took the stage and began to talk about his passion for children’s clothing.
