When Meiko saw the scattered sheet music at Karin’s family home, she realized how Karin truly felt. Drawing on her own experiences, Meiko gently encouraged Karin, confronting her with the harsh reality that “most dreams don’t come true” while also giving her a push forward. On their way home, Yukari and Meiko took a detour to stroll along the beach. The two, who hadn’t seen each other in a long time, seemed to be enjoying a pleasant moment together, just as before. Suddenly, however, Meiko said, “Let’s go back to being teacher and student.” Caught off guard by this sudden proposal, Yukari’s growing feelings spill out… What will become of their troubled lives and the course of their love?

Meiko and her student, Kurumi Shiba, were concerned about Karin. She had cut off all contact after the incident. The two of them decided to take the initiative and storm her family home. Kurumi asked her older brother, Soichiro, to drive them there, but to their surprise, it was Yukari who came to collect them in his car. An unexpected road trip for the three of them began. Yukari called Meiko out on her impulsive plan. Meanwhile, Karin was holed up at home, working on a song. She felt the limits of her ability. She even viewed Meiko as just another “failure”. Meiko was the teacher she once admired. She was filled with frustration. Yet she couldn’t bring herself to give up on music.

Meiko was heartbroken over the misunderstanding with Yukari. Since then, Yukari hasn’t been coming to class. Then Karin started skipping school too, which made Meiko even more depressed. Amidst all this, Meiko happened to witness Karin being drawn into a crime as a “runner” for a fraud ring. Meiko cried out desperately for help, but a gang member grabbed her from behind to silence her. Just then, unexpected help arrived! After the incident, Meiko asked Saki for details about Yukari’s trauma. Meiko realized that she had not truly understood Yukari’s suffering, and a quiet sadness took hold of her.

“I love all of that about you…” Meiko’s heart races when she hears this from Yukari. Just then, Yukari receives a phone call at the worst possible moment. It seems to be from a woman named Saki, and Meiko feels uneasy about the friendly tone of their conversation. At the announcing school, Meiko is thrown off balance once again when Karin, a troubled student, berates her, calling her a “half-assed” person. One day, while Meiko was drinking alone at an izakaya to drown her sorrows, she ended up sitting next to Saki. Then Yukari and Shiba, a junior detective, joined them…! Driven by her drunkenness, Meiko made a bold confession to Yukari. Yukari’s heart wavered, and he finally spoke up…

Suddenly, he took her hand. ‘It feels like a date…!’ Her heart wouldn’t stop racing. When they arrived at the venue, they saw a familiar face. Then, unexpectedly, the venue plunged into chaos, but Meiko acted on instinct. However, this incident caused Yukari’s past trauma to resurface!

Secretly crushing on this younger, puppy-like boy, Meiko insists to her announcer friend, Maki, that he’s just a student. One day, Meiko spots Yukari being harassed by delinquents on the street. Just as the thugs’ hands reach out, Yukari takes shocking action, leaving Meiko stunned. She then discovers his true identity, and the contrast leaves her utterly confused.
